King's Lynn Stars have chosen their Premier League semi-final play-off opponents.
The league's top side - aiming to retain all three of their trophies - will face Sheffield home and away after being given the honour of choosing who to face in the last four due to finishing top of the league at the end of the regular season.
Sheffield finished third in the league with Rye House second and Isle of Wight - tonight's visitors to the Norfolk Arena in the season's final regular season meeting - fourth.
Lynn promoter Keith Chapman said: “We have chosen Sheffield. We have a good record against them and tactically it also leaves Rye House and Isle of Wight, two of the toughest teams in the league at the moment, to fight it out.”
Sheffield host the first leg on Thursday, October 4 with the return on Wednesday, October 10.
The Islanders ride into town tonight as one of the in-form Premier League teams with number one Chris Holder carrying a double figure average. Their minds will also be on revenge after suffering a semi-final defeat in the Knockout Cup last week.
