A centurion and a bowler who took eight wickets have claimed this week's EDP24/Hansells Cricket Awards.
Hardingham batsman Andy Cook was promoted to open the innings for the first time against Diss A in Division Two of the Knights Norfolk League on Saturday.
And he responded in spectacular style, firing 114, including 13 fours and four sixes, as he shared an opening stand of 255 with Michael Breame (136).
Great Melton A's Paul Stearman takes the bowling award after his career-best figures of eight for 23 in the six-wicket defeat of Garboldisham A in Norfolk League Division Four.
He might have broken the club record - Chris Betts' eight for seven in 1980 - but a relatively straightforward chance at square leg was dropped. The 35-year-old has now taken 19 wickets in his last four matches to bolster Melton's promotion bid.
If you want to nominate someone for next week's award, please email your entry to norfolksport@archant.co.uk clearly stating EDP24 Awards in the subject line.
The deadline for entries is noon on Wednesday and for full details of how to nominate, see our website, www.edp24.co.uk/cricket
