There was originally a full schedule of Norfolk SRA league fixtures arranged this week but the Norfolk Closed Championships and the adverse weather conditions played havoc with these and there are only a handful of results available. Ironically the organisers also took the difficult decision to abort the county closed championships at the quarter-final stage as they couldn't run the risk of competitors and spectators having to travel into Norwich and then make the journey home.

In the Premier Division the Bob Carter Centre showed that they could make the second half of the season an interesting one as they won 16-9 away at Broadland. For Broadland Paul Atterton beat Ed Weber in straight games and Ian Cox won the first string match against Liam Nolan 13-15 13-5 14-16 13-8 13-9 but by then the visitors had wrapped up the bonus points as Stefan Lubek beat Mark Nicholls 13-10 in the fifth, Tim Allenden won 3-1 against Mark Thomas and Andrew Trim beat Steve Moxey in straight games.

East Anglia III are currently well clear at the top of Division One and they had a comfortable 20-4 maximum against Fakenham. Hadleigh Farrer, Ed Hancock and Matt Johnson all won their matches in straight games while Anthony Raywood recovered from the loss of the first two games to beat Bruce Bushell 3-2 and Paul Gretton also won 3-2, coming from 1-2 down to beat Michael Barron 3-2. Also in this division North Walsham beat Barnham Broom II 16-8. Rob Whiting beat Wesley Hicks 3-0 while Matt Sumner and Tom Smith both won 3-1 against Stuart Sutton and Simon Howling respectively. For Barnham Neil Sutton beat Roger Hannant 3-1 and Adam Goodson won in straight games against Phil Slack. Potters II remain well in control of Division Three after their 16-8 victory over UEA II. Veteran Richard Soanes won in straight games while David Cook and Darren Green both won their matches 3-1. For the students Andy Keel beat Richard Thorpe 3-0 and Calum Pearson won 3-2 against Kevin Sewell.

North Norfolk II also won, beating neighbours Cromer II 19-5. Peter Foster did win 3-2 for the Cromer team but this was their only victory as Darren Gill and Devendra Mahatme both won 3-0 and Kevin Blake and Ed Watson both won 3-1.
