A second-half comeback failed to prevent Wisbech from slipping to their first defeat of the season.
Cliff Humphreys' side, who won their season opener against Harlow, were given three first-half yellow cards and were made to pay for their ill discipline as they went in 15-3 down at the break.
However, despite only having 13 men on the pitch at one stage, Mark Laws' penalty gave his side hope. And an improved display in the second period saw Joe Barfoot and Jon Turner score tries.
Yet despite Laws' conversion, Humphreys' men were unable to turn their late pressure into any further scores and had to be content with a losing bonus point back.
