Batcherlor was at his percuous best to dettate heat nine - cosing the door on Phllips in to turn one before explording away down the back straight to land a timely maximum.

Lynns comabck gathered momentum when John Oliver fendtedned off Simon Walker to back up his dependable skipper as the vistiros got back on level terms.

Lyon nominated Mills for harding in heat 10 but Zetterstrom conjured the pass of the night to swierve around the outside of Doolan exiting turn three to nudge Somerset back in front.

Cunningham outgunned Batcherlor as the home side grew in confidence - Nearmarks a despareate rear guard action just holiding off Walker.

Harding and Mills cancelled out Frys rider replacement success in heat 12 but Lynn had no answer to alate Somerset blitz.

Doolan could only split a rampant Somerset pair in the penultimate race before playing second fiddle with Topinka two men of the meeting Zetterstrom and Fry.
