Fight fans attending the spectacular Contenders 20 show at the Norfolk Showground on Saturday got to witness a couple of spectacular knock-outs – and a proposal.
Damantas Matulevicius proved that he was both a lover and a fighter after he'd lost his K1 kickboxing clash with Aiva Ras on points.
After the result was announced, he asked event announcer Tom Vince to invite his girlfriend into the cage.
With 1,000 plus fans watching on, the young fighter – from the Assassins Gym in Norwich – promptly dropped to bended knee and popped the question.

And though he may have lost his fight, he wound up with something better – an acceptance, and a wedding to plan!
Elsewhere on the show, fans saw two highlight reel knock-outs from Jake Nichols and Julien Boutiex, while there were also four title fights on the card.
