Norwich Road Runners completed a double Adnams Southwold 10k on Sunday as Tim Topper and Alexandra Smith took top men's and women's honours.

Topper ran out a comfortable winner over Ipswich Jaffa runner Brad Jones in a time of 34:09 while Smith cantered to victory in 41:41 with almost 700 people taking part in the race, which was raising money for the Adnams Charity and Suffolk Sports Aid.

Former Olympic runner Steve Cram handed out the medals afterwards to the pair while Emma Hibbert, of Adnams, paid tribute to members of the Bungay Black Dog Running Club for marshalling the event and to volunteer officials who were gaining experience ahead of the 2012 Olympics.
