A scintillating display of total football saw Lowestoft Town sweep away Kingstonian hitting four goals in the opening 25 minutes. It was the Trawlerboys' fourth win in their last five Ryman League fixtures.

Lowestoft started the game at a high tempo and moved ahead after just four minutes. Captain Rossi Jarvis played the ball forward for Shaun Bammant to nod down to Harvey Hodd.

From just outside the area Hodd's drive seemed to be curling wide but Jake Reed arrived on cue to turn the ball into the net.

A 12th-minute foul on Chris Henderson on the right touchline some 20 yards out saw Lowestoft increase their lead. Blake-Tracy moved across to take the direct free kick and his floated cross beat everybody and dipped into the far top corner of the net.

Just four minutes later the travelling Lowestoft fans were cheering again as the third goal went in. Again the pace of Henderson created the opening as he raced through the K's defence and his diagonal ball was inch perfect for Reed to hit home his second of the afternoon.

Henderson played a prominent part in the fourth goal also as he again raced through the home defence before being pulled down by the keeper in the area.

Lowestoft's penalty frailties surfaced again as Tolfrey redeemed himself by saving Ryan Jarvis' spot kick but the Town player responded quickest to hit home the rebound.

A combination of Lowestoft easing up and Kingstonian upping their game saw the second half a more even affair.

Kingstonian themselves were awarded a penalty in the 57th minute but there seemed little contact between Rory McAuley and Ryan Moss. Moss got up to net from the spot.

Lowestoft were reduced to 10 men in the 77th minute. Reed chased an under-hit back pass and both him and Tolfrey slid in for the loose ball which Reed knocked past the keeper but to everyone's surprise the ref halted play and gave a red card to the Town striker.

Undeterred the 10 men added a fifth goal three minutes later with Bammant rising high to glance Barker's free-kick over the keeper into the net. Kingstonian pulled back a late goal thanks to Joe Turner's scrambled effort.
