Boss Stewart Larter believes his Wroxham side are full of confidence as they prepare to entertain Thurrock this evening.

Larter's men collected their first win of the season on Saturday with an impressive 3-1 victory away at Cheshunt, with goals from Christy Finch, Jack Garrod and Remy Gordon. And the Yachtsmen's gaffer is looking for more of the same as they get ready to face one of the league's most fancied outfits.

Larter said: 'Based on how we played against Cheshunt we should be full of confidence. We certainly created a lot of chances and apart from a 20-minute spell at the end of the first half, I thought we were well worth the three points. But we know there's no easy games in this league and I'm not expecting any different against Thurrock. They've got an experienced manager who's been around the block a bit and they've started pretty well so it will be tight.'

The Yachtsmen welcome back captain Danny Self after the defender missed Saturday's win, with Nathan Stone also vying for a place in the first team squad after missing the opening three games.
