CROWN FIRE CENTRAL & SOUTH NORFOLK LEAGUE

The Division One leaders Thetford Rovers Res lost their 100pc record in a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Rockland Utd and have had their lead at the top of the table cut to just one point as second-placed Dereham Town A won by the odd goal of five at Bunwell.

Swaffham Town A are up to third spot after a 3-3 home draw with Hingham Athletic, and Gressenhall are up to fifth following their 2-1 home win over Tacolneston. Great Ryburgh beat Cockers 4-3 to move away from the relegation zone and Narborough beat bottom team Cranworth 3-0.

Shipdham had a very good result in the third round of the Norfolk Junior Cup, beating Lynn Discovery by the only goal of the game.

The Division Two leaders, Castle Acre Swifts, dropped another two points in being held to a 1-1 draw by Shropham Utd. Second-placed Nostro surrendered their 100pc record in a 1-1 draw with Yaxham, and Hethersett Athletic are up to third place after beating Saham Toney Res 3-1.

Morley Village are up to fourth after beating West End 8-0 at home and Northwold S&SC are 5th following their 8-1 win at bottom team Hingham Athletic Res. Necton won their local derby with Sporle 3-2 and Feltwell Utd ran out 4-0m winners at Wymondham Town A.

There are new leaders in Division Three. Former leaders Narborough Res were beaten 5-3 at Methwold Rovers and surrender top spot to North Elmham, who maintained their 100pc record with a 6-2 home win over Gressenhall Res.

Methwold are now second. Wendling are Fourth after their 4-3 win at bottom team Shipdham Res but fifth-placed Bawdeswell lost their 100pc record after a 4-3 defeat at Marham Wanderers. Breckland Wanderers beat Thurton & Ashby by the only goal of the game, Great Cressingham ran out 3-1 home winners over Rockland Utd Res and Splitz Utd beat Stoke Ferry by the odd goal of three.

Diss Town A extended their lead at the top of Division Four to five points with a 9-0 win at Nostro Res while second-placed Shropham Utd Res being beaten 3-2 at home by Beetley Utd.

Rampant Horse stay third after beating Weasenham Wanderers by the odd goal of three and Tugas Utd are Fourth after beating Mattishall A 2-0. Colkirk are up to fifth after beating bottom club Dereham Cockers Utd 9-1 and Mulbarton Wanderers Res are sixth following their 4-1 win at Scarning Utd. North Elmham Res won 5-1 at Tacolneston Res.
