Norwich United’s Bostik League Division One North clash at Romford has been postponed.

Heavy snow overnight rendered the surface unplayable and a date for the rearranged fixture is yet to be finalised.

Weather pending, the Planters are due to be in action on Saturday when they travel to Canvey Island (kick-off 3pm).

Steve Eastaugh’s men have not been in action since February 17 when they defeated Ware thanks to an Adam Hipperson hat-trick. Their game at home to Hertford last weekend also fell foul of the weather.

United are in the midst of a relegation battle although they will be confidently of steering themselves clear of the one relegation place, currently occupied by Romford, four points below them.

Romford have also played two games more than United whilst both Cheshunt and Ware are also below the Norfolk side in the table.
