Great Witchingham won the Lady Mary Trophy at Manor Park on Sunday, beating Brooke by 70 runs. Put in on a difficult batting surface, Witchingham posted a total of 141, James Spelman top scoring with 40 and Carl Rogers making 29. Brooke's Naeem Ur Rehman took four for 30. But Brooke found batting even more troublesome and capitulated to 71 all out. Stuart Evans took four wickets, while Rogers picked up the man of the match award after returning figures of three for seven from nine overs. There was further disappointment for Brooke on Monday, as they were beaten again in the Biss Rose Bowl final, this time by Old Buckenham, at Brundall.
