King's Lynn Stars youngster Robert Lambert has paid tribute to his friends, family and fans after reaching the Grand Prix Challenge.
Lambert notched six points from three outings in a rain-affected qualifier in Lonigo, Italy on Saturday and will take his place in the Challenge in Vetlanda, Sweden, in September where the top three will book their place in the 2017 FIM Speedway GP series.
'My special thanks to mechanics Arthur and Frank,' he said. 'The latter helped me out with his car for the weekend and he is always there when needed. Thanks to everyone for their support, friends, family, fans, everyone.'
