Rain washes Newton men off course

NORFOLK EBF: Norfolk's Adams and Newton teams entertained Northants, with the Adams team looking to get back on the winning trail after their recent match against Hunts and the Newton team looking to consolidate their good start to the season.

As it turned out the Adams team achieved their objective with a convincing 185-133 win taking 20 of the available 22 points. The Newton team led by 17 shots after 20 ends when there was a heavy shower of rain which completely changed the course of the game – Northants running out winners by 179 shots to 154 and Norfolk picking up only four points.
