Local teams experienced mixed fortunes at Brands Hatch on the day Shane Byrne wrapped up his fourth British Superbike Championship.

RAF Marham's RAF Reserves team rider Peter Hickman, on his Honda Fireblade, secured points with a 13th place while Norwich Morello Services rider John Ingram failed to finish in race one. Hickman fared better in race two, coming home in 11th place with Ingram 17th. In race three, Hickman got into a scrap with Chris Walker and there was nothing the former MotoGP and World Superbike rider could do about it, with Hickman claiming yet more big scalps as he came home ninth. Ingram dropped back to 19th.

In the Superstock 1000 race, Morello riders Jesse Trayler and Dan Johnson were fifth and ninth respectively. Conor Cummins on the RAF Reserves Honda was 13th.

King's Lynn rider Freddy Pett was determined to finish the season with a double race victory in the Triumph Triple Challenge to add the final polish to the Championship he clinched at Silverstone two weeks earlier. He won on Saturday, but on Sunday settled for second behind Scott Pitchers.
