There were two events held at Horning Sailing Club over the weekend, with a celebratory race for Bart's Bash on Saturday and a Downriver on Sunday.

Saturday saw a mixed fleet of mainly dinghies take to the water. Winner of the dinghy race was James Tooke sailing his Topper 4.2 ahead of Abigail Penny, also sailing a Topper, whilst the keelboats were won by Dan Greeves sailing Yeoman Blue Ripple. A second race took place, also won by James in his Topper 4.2.

Sunday was far breezier for the downriver race, with the OOD deciding to send the fleet to Acle, with only half the competitors making it. First Cruiser was Swallow (Peter Goshawk), with George Brewis helming Amantani first on the return. First Yeoman was Tara (Geoff Stubbs), who was also first back to Horning. The only Gaff rig to make it both ways was YBOD Hairstreak sailed by Clive Gardner. The only dinghy to achieve the same was Fireball Phoenix (Will Penny and Edward Wildman).
