Beccles' Sheran Mendis hit a sensational 174 not out to steer his side to a five-wicket win over Fakenham in the first round of the Biss Rose Bowl competition.
Opener Mendis' innings included 11 sixes and 18 fours and he brought his century up in just 48 balls as Beccles successfully chased down Fakenham's 231 for five, of which Stephen Gray made an unbeaten 70.
Brooke bowled Lowestoft out for 138 and then surpassed that score with eight wickets down, while Cromer are also through after beating Saham Toney by 41 runs. Old Buckenham went through on a walkover after Dersingham withdrew.
Biss Trophy semi-final draw: Swardeston v Great Witchingham, Horsford v Vauxhall Mallards.
Rose Bowl semi-final draw: Beccles v Brooke, Cromer v Old Buckenham.
