Pinewood Park seize top spot in Norfolk County Indoor Bowls Association
With leaders Pentney A not playing at the weekend, Pinewood Park A went to the top of Division Two.
Keith Medlar's rink top scored 23-16 as they won away at County Arts B by 84 shots to 76.
Third placed Acle B slipped up at home to bottom of the table Lakeside B losing by 89 shots to 69, the Lakeside rink skipped by J Baker winning 29-14. Browston A beat Hunstanton at home by 90 shots to 57, Pat Morris' rink winning 27-12.
In Division Three, both of the leaders lost away from home. Shotford A lost at Dereham A by 78 shots to 64, Roger Rudling's rink for Dereham winning 23-13 and Norfolk BC B lost at Old Hall by 77 shots to 72 despite their rink skipped by Chris Bardwell top scoring 20-11. Next week Shotford A meet Norfolk BC B to decide who wins the title.
At the bottom of the table, Brecks A beat Wymondham B at home by 92 shots to 74, Alastair Stevenson's rink for Brecks winning 31-12. As a result both Wymondham B and Browston B are relegated.
Division Four leaders North Walsham beat County Arts C at home by 98 shots to 47, their rink skipped by V Wilson winning 26-10. Second-placed Pinewood Park B won at Norfolk BC C by 95 shots to 64 to clinch the second promotion spot, Clem Fountain's rink top scoring 37-11. The Division Four championship will be decided next week when North Walsham travel to Pinewood Park.
Despite beating Pentney B at home by 106 shots to 70, Wymondham C are relegated to Division Five, their rink skipped by Tom Kelly winning 38-14.

The only match in Division Five saw Lynnsport B beating promoted Gallow B at home by 86 shots to 73, M Attew's rink winning 29-6.
