King's Lynn cruised past Thetford at The Walks tonight to clinch a Norfolk Senior Cup final date against Dereham at Carrow Road.
Robbie Harris - fresh from his match winner against St Neots in the club's weekend FA Vase success - notched a first half brace before Matt Dixon grabbed Thetford a lifeline just after the break.
Jamie Thurlbourne fired a free kick past Mark Bowden on 56 minutes and Danny White put the semi-final tie beyond doubt a minute later before stand-in skipper Luke Thurlbourne buried a fifth in the final minute.
Lynn top scorer and skipper Jack Defty enjoyed a rare night off along with Chris Bacon. Defty was named on the bench but Bacon was ommitted from the squad after picking up a knee injury at the weekend. Harris partnered Nelson Moreira up front whilst experienced centre back Martin McNeil replaced the cup-tied Ross Watson at centre half. Luke Thurlbourne captained the side in Defty's absence with the skipper joined by some of the club's young talent on the bench.
Luke Thurlbourne was again deployed at right-back with Pat Bexfield on the opposite flank in the continued injury absence of Jamie Alsop.

Simon Mann hammered into the Hospital End for the underdogs on 13 minutes. Steve Spriggs jinked into the visiting penalty box but Sean O'Donnell sensed the danger for a Thetford side growing in confidence after their early set back.
Luke Bailey then took evasive action with Spriggs in behind. Harris struck again on 24 minutes with a scuffed right footer from 12 yards following a cute step over from Moreira.
Matt Blake should have dragged Thetford back into the contest on the half hour but his near post header sailed wide from Arron Joseph's perfect cross.
Blake then tried his luck with an ambitious long range effort Alex Street was able to watch fly wide.
Danny Buhlemann had to bail out his captain when Luke Thurlbourne's wayward sideways pass almost teed up Matt Dixon.
Bailey had to be alert with Moreira sensing a half chance from Bexfield's long punt. Thetford centre back Matt Howard was round on the cover seconds later to kick Spriggs' angled strike off his own line before Moreira was inches from applying a decisive touch.
Harris spurned a hat-trick chance in the final minute when he swivelled onto Moreria's cross but lofted over from just inside the Thetford box.
Town introduced two of their Norfolk U18 players Tom Barnes and Gino Livoti at the interval - Buhlemann and Spriggs making way.
Dixon shocked the hosts on 47 minutes when he skipped past McNeil to slot past Street - much to the delight of the travelling supporters.
Joseph acrobatically kicked away Jamie Thurlbourne's cross not once but twice as Lynn looked to restore their two goal advantage. Bowden then had to palm over Kieran Doherty's rising strike from the edge of the area but respite was only temporary - Jamie Thurlbourne curling a free kick exquistly past Bowden after Howard clipped White just outside the Thetford box.
Town's all action midfielder then exacted his own revenge a minute later when he exchanged passess with Harris to slot past Bowden at the second attempt.
Bustling Lynn striker Tom Barnes almost his introduction with a header that was tipped over by the increasingly busy Bowden.
Fellow youngster Livoti then flicked at the Thetford keeper from Jamie Thurlbourne's cross with Lynn now in total command. McNeil carved a half volley into the Hospital End with the hosts now opening up Thetford at will.
Harris wastefully lifted over with Bowden to beat on 72 minutes. Street was called into action to save smartly with his legs to deny Blake. Jamie Thurlbourne tried his luck again from fully 25 yards when Livoti was upended but Bowden scrambled to push around his left-hand post. Doherty burst through the heart of the Thetford backline in the closing stages but Bowden was out sharply again as rain lashed across the ground.
