Phoenix rise to the Norwich Sunday league summit as Rouse strikes

Phoenix are back on top of the Norwich Sunday League Premier Division after a single Laurence Rouse goal grabbed a win at Horsford.
Morning leaders Schoolhouse suffered their first defeat of the season as they were left stunned at Poringland Wanderers, the home side coming back from 2-1 down with only 10 minutes left to win 3-2 thanks to a Chris Lay hat-trick.
Acle Rangers are third after a narrow 3-2 win over Farmhouse, whilst Riverside Rovers scored five of their games eight goals when beating The Middle Green. Hewett OBs returned to winning ways, coming back from Trimingham Pilgrims with a 5-1 (Craig Bussens, Nathan Page, Benedict Potts, Ashley Smith, Callum Speck) victory under their belt.
An excellent performance from Aslacton put an end to Woolpack's winning start to the season in Division One after Jutty Womack and Ed Lake scored for the home side, who came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2. Mischief who were level on points with the leaders before kick-off, failed to take advantage as they needed a last-minute equaliser to draw 2-2 draw at Brooke Res. Drayton Dazzlers have four wins from four after beating Mad Moose 7-1 and there was a good 4-0 victory for Marlborough over Hethersett Athletic. Kevin Brown scored as Vale Longo drew 1-1 at Barracks, Luke Sturman replying, whilst Windmill Wanderers have points on the board after beating Norman Wanderers 2-1.
Silver Fox continue to power on at the top of Division Two after scoring four without reply at East Tuddenham. FC Viking are second after Craig Beeden struck six times as they scored a dozen at Hethersett Ath Res, but Hempnall dropped down after suffering their first defeat, 5-2 at AFC Norwich. Bungay Towns's 3-1 (Patrick Hudson, Brandon Ling, James Mirner) win at Norman Wanderers A moves them into fourth spot and Dynamo will be happy with their three-goal win at Newsman Celtic. DCS Rapid recorded their second win of the season, scoring four without reply at home to MC Rovers.

Eaton FC missed out on the chance to close the gap at the top of Division Three as they were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Rackheath Rangers. Daniel Hawkie hit a double for the home side, whilst Toby Gilbert and Jamie Platten replied for Rangers.
There were five goals (Chris Bedford 2, Steven Charles, Matthew Herring) for AG Athletic as they won at FC Viking Res and Sporting Iceni grabbed their third win of the season as they beat Woodton United 4-2, goals coming from a Ruben Copsey double, Josh Smith and Liam Tanner.

Eaton Park Corinthians were also among the goals as they scored five in their victory at Cellar House. There were two goals for Will Abbs and another from Tobias Oliver as Aylsham drew 3-3 at Nelsons Athletic.
Cringleford are the new leaders of Division Four. As they were beating Yelverton 4-2 goals coming from a Rory Judd hat-trick and a Michael Crosby strike, morning leaders Salhouse Rovers went to Long Stratton and were beaten 5-0 with a George Macrae double among the home side scorers.
Holt United beat Old Catton 3-1 and Hellesdon were 6-3 (Max Spelman 3, Rhys Mahley 2, Harry Brookes) victors at Bunwell AFC. Cherry Tree won 3-1 at home to Earsham Sunday thanks to goals from Ryan Baston, Jordan Carroll and Jack Mason whilst, despite two goals from James Buckingham, Felthorpe went down 3-2 at Mulbarton Wanderers.
