A slightly disappointing 31 men and three ladies contested the League Singles hosted by Harleston Apollo.
But it was a quality field and many first round casualties could have won on another day.
The last eight saw Peter Birkett beat Paul Elmy, John Holmes beat Gary Doughty, Vinny Mudd beat Frankie Ansell and Mark Eaton beat Rob Warman.
In the semis the Ingate duo of Birkett and Eaton overcame Holmes and Mudd respectively.
In the final, Eaton lead 2-0 only for Birkett to bring it back to 3-3 before holding his nerve to take the deciding leg and the title.
