Manager Rob Taylor has parted company with Thurlow Nunn League outfit Swaffham Town –without ever taking charge of a game.
The former Manchester City striker, who took over this summer, has been replaced by Paul Hunt, who has returned for his second spell in charge.
A statement on the club's official website said: 'It is with regret that Swaffham Town FC announces the departure of manager Rob Taylor. We would like to place on record our thanks to him for the time he was with us and wish him all the best for the future. We are pleased to mention that a familiar face down the lane has agreed to step back in charge of the first team for his second tenure at the club. Welcome back Paul Hunt.
'Paul worked hard along with his squad to regain promotion to the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division in his previous reign but he unfortunately had to step down due to the fact he was opening a new business. After speaking to Hunty he made it clear that he was glad to be back in charge at the club and he was looking forward to the challenge of attempting to sustain the team in the Premier Division.'
