parkrun round-up: Record turnout at Gorleston Cliffs

A record 440 runners took part in the Gorleston Cliffs parkrun on Saturday
Robert Chenery (Ipswich JAFFA RC) and Gary Crush (City of Norwich AC) both finished with the same time of 16:21 for first place with Carl Prewer (Lowestoft Road Runners) third in 17:22.
Bungay Black Dog RC's Holly Bunn was first female in 20:37 whilst Emma Wilcock (Coltishall Jaguars) set a new personal best of 21:02 for second place. Tia Gibson was third in 21:35 on her first taste of the Gorleston event.
James Howlett (Framlingham Flyers) made his 100th parkrun one to remember by setting a new PB of 19:34. Stu Simpson, John Bone and Gerlinde Diehl all celebrated their 100th events whilst Melissa Mitchell notched up her 50th.

Dominic Oliver (City of Norwich AC) was the first runner home at Lowestoft in 16:41 as 268 people took part in their latest event.
Ipswich Harriers' Sam Stevens was second in 17:05 - setting a new personal best in the process with Wojciech Kantczak (Corby AC) third in 17:32.
Junior runner Kathryn Skazick was first female in 22:52 with Anna Gray (Bungay Black Dog RC) just behind in 22:59 (new PB). Louise White was third in 23:06 with a new personal best.

Visiting runner Elliott Cone was the first runner home at Thetford in 19:05.
The Leigh-on-Sea Striders runner was just four seconds ahead of Tom Kingscott (19:09) with David Loomes (Thetford AC) third in 19:16.
Louise White (Thetford AC) was the first female home in 20:23, ahead of Sabine Schaefer (Thetford AC) in 20:27. Stacey Owen was third in 23:30.
Marilyn Dawn Cole celebrated her 100th parkrun as tail runner in 1-00:32.

Renegade Runners' Matt Pyatt won the 350th staging of King's Lynn parkrun in a time of 16:40.
Spencer Goodall (Wymondham AC) wasn't far behind by also breaking the 17-minute barrier, in 16:59 with Ryston Runners AC's Shaun Mann third in 18:19.
Kate Peacock was the first female in 20:38 with Katie Cotton (Long Eaton RC) second in 21:54 on her first parkrun at King's Lynn. Lisa Pyatt (Renegade Runners) was third in 22:14.
Renegade Runners' members Jody Rolfe and Darryl Mallet both recorded their 100th parkruns in 24:50 and 22:57 respectively. Matthew Taylor also notched up his 100th in 25:04. Ben Collison (West Norfolk AC) and David Marks (Norwich Road Runners) enjoyed their 50th events in 18:43 and 29:54 respectively.
