Norfolk's Olivia Nicholls has represented a Great Britain Combined University team against members of the All England Lawn Tennis Club at Wimbledon.
The match followed the 20-year-old, originally from Acle and currently studying at Loughborough University, winning the British Universities and Colleges Sports women's singles title last month.
The format of the day at Wimbledon allowed for a women's/men's match in the first round, followed by mixed matches afterwards. Nicholls played with Alex Walker from Bath University against Jane O'Donoghue and Mel South and lost on a championship tie-break.
The GB Uni boys pair also lost on a tie-break third against Chris Archer and Ross Hutchins. Nicholls then played against O'Donoghue and Ross, winning 6-3, 6-2. The overall match score was 3-1 to AELTC members.
Nicholls said 'it was a fantastic experience and an amazing day. I really enjoyed representing the GB Universities team and hope to get selected for the World Student Games in South Korea this June.'
