United were 7-0 winners at Fakenham Town, while North Walsham came out on top in a nine-goal thriller at home to Wymondham Town Reserves, winning 5-4.

It was an under-strength Fakenham side who entertained last season's County Cup and league champions, starting the game with only 10 players.

Despite the setback they were resolute in their defending, holding off many Thorpe attacks, but the deadlock was eventually broken midway through the first half. The rest of the goals came in the latter stages, when fitness began to tell, with gaps appearing all across the Fakenham lines as players tired.

Sprowston, who were 4-0 winners at Long Stratton, are second, on the same points as the leaders – both teams have seven points from three games.

Briston went ahead after barely a minute, although Belles' heads didn't drop under great pressure, the Belles defended strongly, with JB commanding the goal.

In the second half, the home team capitalised on their chances to add two more goals before, with only minutes to go, Lisa dribbled the ball into the opposition half and got the ball to Amy whose good through pass set up Helen who got to the ball just before the keeper and chipped it past for 3-1.

Scole United beat Morley 3-1, For Morley it was a game of missed chances, especially in the first half against a very young Scole side who took their chances and were full of running.
