Harleston Magpies Ladies are at home to Doncaster tomorrow (12.30pm) in Division One of the Slazenger National League. Although Magpies are struggling for points this season, this young team showed for 50 minutes of the game against a useful Reading team last week that they are capable of competing at this level.

Although Magpies are struggling for points this season, this young team showed for 50 minutes of the game against a useful Reading team last week that they are capable of competing at this level.
Coach Colin Wheelhouse certainly felt it was a very positive performance - but Magpies now need to produce it for the full 70 minutes.
Magpies have already played Doncaster this season - losing 4-1 in Yorkshire. So it will be interesting to measure the progress the team has made since. Doncaster are currently one place and four points ahead of the Norfolk club.
Former Magpies player Ali Bicker will be appearing for Doncaster - but former Magpies captain Lou Waite is expected to be out injured.
