Norwich United will be hoping to beat the weather on New Year's Day, having dropped a place to 22nd after Ware's unexpected win at Bowers & Pitsea on Saturday coincided with the Planters' trip to Romford falling foul of the weather.
There is a strong possibility of a morning pitch inspection ahead of the game against Mildenhall Town, with the Plantation Park ground saturated following the weekend's rain, which put paid to the Under-21s' Thurlow Nunn First Division game against Downham Town on Saturday in the process.
Manager Steve Eastaugh will be hoping to maintain the momentum of gaining seven points in their last three matches and a run of seven games with just one defeat which has lifted them off the bottom of the table.
Mildenhall, recent adversaries in the Eastern Counties League, will not be an easy game: Hall beat Hertford Town 2-0 at home on Saturday to extend their run to just one defeat in the last six games.
