Norwich United's joint leading goalscorer Liam Jackson has agreed terms on a new contract that will keep him at Plantation Park until the end of the 2019/20 season.
Manager Steve Eastaugh was delighted to get Jackson signed up.
'Liam has progressed really well since making the monumental step up five divisions 18 months ago,' he said. 'We have been patient with him and we now reap the rewards of his hard work with 17 goals already this season. Liam thoroughly deserves his new contract and we look forward to helping him with his next phase of development.'
Jackson joined from North Walsham Town at the start of the 2016-17 season making 34 appearances, 24 from the bench, scoring seven goals. This season the 20-year-old striker has forced his way into the team, starting in 23 of his 30 appearances. His four goals against Canvey won him December's Bostik League North Division Performance of the Month award.
