Norwich United go into tonight's game with Soham Town Rangers still bottom of the Bostik North, but with renewed confidence after Saturday's 3-1 victory at Bowers & Pitsea gave them their first win of the season.
Two goals before the interval from Hafeez Sanusi in just his second game for the Planters and a second half strike from Liam Jackson backed up an excellent all round performance which belied the visitors' league position.
The Greens however will surely be confident themselves, having beaten Steve Eastaugh's team 4-1 in the first week of the season.
However they have picked up just two points from the last five and that poor run has seen them slip to 18th position, just five points ahead of the Planters.
Saturday saw them snatch a point in a 1-1 home draw with new boys Barking thanks to Callum Russell's late penalty.
