Norwich summer basketball camp for hoop stars of the future
Fancy a shot at emulating Jason Kidd and the NBA's other stars?
Recreation Road Sports Centre in Norwich will hold a summer basketball camp during the first week of the holidays to test your ball skills.
Former Great Britain stars and current Norfolk coaches Henry Utku and Dean Rosembert will take the sessions, aimed at teaching the children new skills, giving them the chance to play in competitive tournaments and come away with trophies and medals.
Every player that attends the course will also receive a free T-shirt.
On Monday (July 25) and Tuesday (July26), the centre will be open to school years three, four, five and six – 10am to 3pm. Wednesday (July 27) and Thursday (July 28) it will be open to years seven, eight, nine, 10 and 11 – with the same times.
