Norwich Road Runners held their first #RunAndTalk event to raise awareness about mental health and the benefits running can bring.
A total of 25 attendees did a two-mile jog and was a chance for people to talk about what they love about running and the physical and mental advantages it engenders.
Norwich Road Runners mental health champion and event organiser, Dave Thomas, said: 'Mental health and physical health are connected and attitudes towards them should be equal. Everyone runs for a different reason and we celebrated that. Events like ours happened up and down the UK for world mental health awareness day on Wednesday and we are proud to have taken part.'
Norwich Road Runners meet at Sewell Park, off Constitution Hill, every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. It is open to runners of all abilities.
