Norwich parkrun enjoyed a record turnout on Saturday as 671 runners tested themselves around Eaton Park.
A damp, dreary day did nothing to lessen the spirits of the runners as Norfolk Gazelles’ Alan Hume was first home in a time of 17:12. Steve Hayes (Deestriders RC) was seven seconds further back whilst Norfolk Orienteering Club’s Jan Kaiser posted a time of 17:23. Tri-Anglia’s Marc Suhrcke set a new parkrun personal best in fourth as he came home in 17:31.
Sarah Imbush (Southend-on-Sea) was first female in 19:33 with Christine Faulkner just behind in 20:23. Third female was Beccles and Bungay Harriers’ Lauren Howe in 20:34.
