Norwich take on Enfield Ignatians on Saturday in their final warm-up game.

Several clubs in London 2NE have been recruiting hard during the summer, meaning points will be hard to come by this season.

Director of Rugby David Everitt said: 'Pre-season has gone well, with large numbers of players training. We started at the UEA sports field to build up stamina, then used the athletic track to work on speed and had sessions at Attleborough Boxing Club to work on controlled aggression. The benefit of this work was shown in our two friendly games against West Norfolk and Holt where we scored 50-plus points.'

The squad has been bolstered by the return of Dave Micklethwaite and Matt Selby, who have been playing at National Two for Bury St Edmunds. Work commitments mean they have been unable to continue at that level and they will play when available. Paul Micklethwaite and Tom Whiskin also return while Deane Anderton has left because of work commitments.
