Norwich Dragons are staring relegation in the face after being beaten 3-1 at Cambridge City II in a re-arranged Premier Division fixture.

With four teams going down Dragons remain nine points from safety with just five matches left to play.

Dragons were one down at the break and conceded again before Hayley Toleman got them back in the game, but Cambridge scored again and it took some good defending from Lucy Ripman to prevent further goals.

Norwich City had to settle for a point from a 1-1 draw at promotion rivals Bedford II and remain a point outside the top two as a result. City took the lead in the second half when Krystal Bishop scored with a powerful shot from a short corner. Bedford then stepped up a gear and after applying heavy pressure got back on level terms from a short corner of their own.

Harleston Magpies II saw off Newmarket 3-0 to maintain their perfect record while Watton were beaten 3-1 at St Neots and Lowestoft lost 2-1 at Wisbech.
