It's D for Decision day as Alex Neil ponders whether or not to bring out the cheque book once more before the transfer window closes.

City have done more business in this window than ever before, spending more than £20m as they back Neil's plans to keep them on the lucrative Premier League top table.

As well as five permanent signings, City wrapped up a loan deal for Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford, inset, over the weekend, bringing the number of new faces at Carrow Road to six.

City are among the Premier League's big spenders – but is there another signing lined up before 11pm?

The answer is probably no: City did what they intended and completed the bulk of their business early. Neil has significantly increased his options by adding Timm Klose and Ivo Pinto to the back line, while Steven Naismith and Matt Jarvis strengthen his attack and young Ben Godfrey is marked 'for the future'.

But today's activities may depend on others: Kyle Lafferty and Stephen Whittaker are candidates for the exit door, for the right price, while an out-of-the-blue offer for one of the top players might just spark a chain reaction.
