Wembley play-off final memories of a great day for Norwich City fans

The task ahead – with two new people at the helm – is brought home today, of all days, as supporters remember the events of two years ago: the joy of a Wembley victory.

The Canaries achieved the dream on May 25, 2015 when they beat Middlesbrough 2-0 in the Championship play-off final.

It was a near-perfect display: victory came via two goals, from Cameron Jerome and Nathan Redmond, inside the first 15 minutes and Norwich were in almost complete control for the rest of the match.

It sparked massive celebrations among the yellow and green army on a day that will live long in the memory.

Of the starting XI that day, only five remain – Russell Martin, Jonny Howson, Alex Tettey, Wes Hoolahan and Cameron Jerome.
