Norwich City picked up a second consecutive Carrow Road clean sheet but unlike Sheffield Wednesday produced a moment of class to secure the Canaries' first Championship home win of the season.

Alex Neil was in no doubt this result owed much to the displays of Timm Klose and Ryan Bennett, who kept a close eye on highly-rated Robins' duo Jonathan Kodjia and Tammy Abraham. Alex Tettey also got a mention from his manager for his work in a screening role in front of City's dominant centre-backs.

Wes Hoolahan and Jonny Howson combined superbly to pierce the visitors' backline and Sergi Canos showed enough in a second-half cameo he could have a major impact down the Norwich right.

Norwich City Correspondent Paddy Davitt went for Bennett, who bar a sloppy pass that earned Ivo Pinto a yellow card, was a major aerial presence to thwart the Robins' free-scoring frontline.
