Lowestoft-based Everton fan Mark Boggis is hoping to again be a good luck charm for Everton at Carrow Road.

Are you pleased with Everton’s start to the season?

Fairly pleased. We have played some super stuff at times. A semi-final spot in the League Cup has been secured but it’s those seven league draws which could have seen us placed even higher had they been converted into wins.

Should we believe the hype about Romelu Lukaku?

Yes. Lukaku made it 50 goals in 100 Everton appearances on Monday and this calendar year he has been excellent. His hold-up and link play has vastly improved and with 27 goals in 2015 – 17 of those being away goals – he is on course to break further club records.

Which other players have been key so far?

Much has been made of the “Fab Four” – Lukaku, Ross Barkley, Gerard Deulofeu and John Stones – who are all aged 22 or under and their performances have been crucial. The attacking trio have provided goals, assists and chances aplenty while Stones has been immense.

Is Roberto Martinez making progress quickly enough?

It was said after Martinez’s first season in charge and a record league points tally that the School of Science had reopened. While we played well in Europe last season our league form suffered – so this is a big campaign for RM. We last won the league title in 1987 – sealed at Carrow Road with yours truly as the EFC winning mascot – and while the Premier League is still a way away, a trophy and Europe must be the targets.

Can we read much into the recent Capital One Cup match?

Not too much. Norwich played well on the night, but I think that only about four of Everton’s starters in the October cup tie are likely to start today. So while I am expecting a few changes, hopefully the only constant is the same winning result!

Do you see Everton as favourites for Saturday’s match?

I would say yes – simply because of the form of both sides going into today’s match. We have only lost once in 11 games away from home, but Carrow Road is always a tough place to play.

Which of City’s players will Toffees fans be wary of?

Robbie Brady and Nathan Redmond. RB because of his overall quality and set-piece deliveries, while NR will be seen as a good outlet to have in getting in behind our attacking full-backs.

Are there any weaknesses Norwich could exploit?

Our defending at set-pieces has been a particular problem area thus far. While our over-attacking instincts can, at times, leave us susceptible to quick counters.

Do you think the Canaries will avoid relegation?

Yes, I believe that Norwich can survive. However they will need to pick up some points over a tough festive season and improve on their home form – just after today!

And finally, what’s your prediction?

Norwich 1, Everton 2. With Lukaku and Barkley winning an entertaining clash for The Blues. COYB
