Norwich City's Under-21s are in action at Carrow Road tonight as they attempt to move into the top 10 of the Barclays Under-21 Premier League.

The young Canaries are yet to be beaten in 2014, having won 5-0 at Blackburn, drawn 2-2 with Arsenal in front of a crowd of over 1,000 people at Carrow Road and beaten Cromer Town 2-0 in the quarter-finals of the Norfolk Senior Cup.

They put that unbeaten record on the line against West Brom tonight (7pm kick-off) and Under-21s coach Mark Robson is hoping to see plenty of support for his young side again.

'That was fantastic,' Robson said of the 1,062 attendance for the Arsenal game at the end of January. 'To get over 1,000 people there was really good for the players, and it was good at the end because we got the equaliser and they were really noisy.

'They were in the first 20 minutes too because I think we started the game off great and gave them something to cheer about, so hopefully we can get the same sort of crowd again – that would be brilliant.'

Robson is able to field three outfield players over the age of 21, as well as an overage goalkeeper, so some of the fringe players from Chris Hughton's senior squad could be involved.

Otherwise the team will mainly consist of players who helped the club's Under-18s win the FA Youth Cup last season, such as striker Carlton Morris and defenders Kyle McFadden and Harry Toffolo.

The young Canaries are currently in 12th place in the 22-team division and five places, but just one point, above West Brom.

'They're a good side though, we've looked at a few of their videos from their recent games,' Robson added, speaking to Norwich City TV.

'They've got a lot of pace in the team and they try and get the ball down and play.'

Seats will be available in the Jarrold Stand for the match, priced at £3 or free for priority members. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.canaries.co.uk, by telephone on 0844 826 1902 or from the ticket offices at Carrow Road or the Canary Stores at Chapelfield and The Mall.

Tickets will be available from the Carrow Road ticket office tonight but the club is advising fans to buy in advance or arrive early to avoid queues. Car parking will also be available at the stadium on a first come, first served basis.
