Wes Hoolahan has been handed the captain's armband for his final appearance as a Norwich City player, against Leeds.

Hoolahan, as expected, starts the final Carrow Road game of the Championship season, coming in for the injured Alex Tettey. Harrison Reed retains the right-back position again ahead of Ivo Pinto.

The other change sees Nelson Oliveira start ahead of Dennis Srbeny up front, with Tom Trybull returning to the bench after two months out injured and Christoph Zimmermann also returning among the substiutes.

Hoolahan will make his 352nd and final appearance for the Canaries, which will see him draw level with Daryl Sutch in joint 16th in the club's all-time appearances list.

If the playmaker can score on his big day it would be his 54th goal and move him clear of Hugh Curran in 21st place in City's all-time top scorers' list.

The 36-year-old has started 16 of his 33 games this season, starting just one game in 2018, the 4-1 defeat at QPR last month.

Outside of the Hoolahan farewell the Canaries are looking to build on a 0-0 draw at Preston last weekend and know that victory over Leeds would move them up to 12th as they are only behind their opponents on goal difference.

The visitors have only won three of their last 14 league games since former City defender Paul Heckingbottom replaced Thomas Christiansen as manager, beating his former side Barnsley 2-1 at Elland Road last weekend.

Leeds make just one change to their starting XI bringing captain Liam Cooper back into central defence ahead of Paudie O'Connor.

Norwich: Gunn; Reed, Hanley, Klose, Lewis; Leitner; Vrancic, Maddison, Hoolahan (C), Murphy; Oliveira. Subs: McGovern (GK), Zimmermann, Pinto, Husband, Trybull, Hernandez, Srbeny

Leeds: Peacock-Farrell; Pennington, Jansson, Cooper (C), Pearce; Phillips, Vieira; Alioski, Saiz, Hernandez; Roofe. Subs: Lonergan (GK), Anita, O'Connor, Forshaw, Ekuban, Lasogga, Grot
