Norwich City youngster Harry Toffolo has admitted his future may lie away from Carrow Road.

The 19-year-old is enjoying a successful loan spell with League One promotion hopefuls Swindon Town where he has proved a big hit with the club's supporters.

'I'm loving life in Swindon at the moment,' Toffolo said. 'I'm playing games, training well, playing well, everything seems to be going to plan, it's really good.'

The left-back was part of the City under-18 squad which won the FA Youth Cup in 2013 but has yet to feature for the club's first team.

He has made 17 appearances for the Robins so far and saw his initial three-month loan extended until the end of the season in January, with the help of a £12,000 donation from two Swindon supporters groups.

Now Toffolo is considering if his career will be better served by staying at the County Ground.

'The ball's out of my court, I'd love to stay at Swindon,' the Canaries youngster continued, speaking to Swindon Viewpoint.

'My contract is up at the end of the season at Norwich, I've also got a one-year option but it's a club option, so they can say whether to keep me or not, so it's sort of out of my court.

'I can obviously speak to Swindon and Norwich and see what they think, but if I go back and Norwich say 'we want you around the first team' then things could be different. But obviously I'll have to weigh up my options there and I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at Swindon so far and I don't see why I'd want it to end.'

The former England Under-19 international also spoke about his potential to represent Italy, due to the nationality of his father, Stefano, as 'one thing we're looking at'.
