Lincoln City manager Chris Sutton is reported to be lining up a swoop for promising Norwich City defender David Stephens.
Former Canaries striker Sutton, who took Stephens to Sincil Bank on loan at the end of last season, is now believed to have his sights set on making the move permanent after securing the services of Walsall midfielder Josh O'Keefe.
Sources in Lincoln expect the 18-year-old City academy product and Wales Under-19 international Stephens to leave Carrow Road during the summer and are hoping to negotiate a deal over the coming days.
After making his Norwich debut and only appearance at Gillingham in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, the defender played Lincoln's final three games of the campaign, winning the man of the match award on his debut against Bury.
He also helped the Imps keep a clean sheet on the last day against Macclesfield with another commanding display.
Other clubs are also believed to be interested in the centre-back.
