Signing a striker should be the priority for Norwich City on transfer deadline day, if any further business is to be completed.

That's according to the results of our latest pinkun.com online poll, where 59 percent of over 2,200 voters opted for another front-man.

We asked which position in the Canaries squad should be strengthened if just one more signing is to be made before today's 11pm deadline.

Despite last week's signing of striker Dennis Srbeny, who was top scorer for German third tier leaders Paderborn, it seems that further competition for Nelson Oliveira is wanted by supporters.

The other position some still feel needs attention is right-back.

Ivo Pinto has played more outfield minutes than any of City's outfield players so far this season but tweaked his knee last week and missed Saturday's 1-0 win at Brentford.

On-loan Southampton midfielder Harrison Reed stepped in as emergency cover at right wing-back and coped well at Griffin Park, with head coach Daniel Farke having suggested Alex Tettey or Tom Trybull could have done likewise if needed.

While captain Pinto is expected to recover in time for the visit of Middlesbrough to Carrow Road on Saturday, 30pc of our voters would still like to see another right-back added to the mix.

Farke has already hinted he was expecting a quiet conclusion to a busy window, which has seen five players added to the first-team squad, including Srbeny, Onel Hernandez and Moritz Leitner.

Senior players Alex Pritchard and Cameron Jerome have also been sold and 13 players have left on loan, including Steven Naismith, Russell Martin and Yanic Wildschut.

So 6pc of our voters don't feel City need to do any more business ahead of tonight's deadline.
