Korey Smith is back in contention for a recall after missing the promotion party at Charlton Athletic on Saturday.

The Norwich City midfielder turned his ankle over at Colney last week but is back in training and could return as the Canaries bid to sewn up the League One title against Gillingham tomorrow (3pm).

However, the game is likely to come too soon for Irish wizard Wes Hoolahan, who is still recovering from a thigh strain.

City boss Paul Lambert said at Colney this morning: 'Korey's been training and Wes is just jogging at the minute, so we'll just wait until after today.

'Wes is responding to treatment, but we'll have to wait and see. I'm sure in his own mind he would want to get back out there as quickly as he can and try to finish it off, but you can't rush anybody back if they're still feeling it.'

There are no further injury doubts for the City manager to contend with, while skipper Grant Holt will almost certainly return up front after completing a two-match suspension.

However, Lambert is set to miss out on being in the dugout tomorrow due to a ban of his own.

The Scot was handed a one-game touchline ban alongside football operations manager Gary Karsa for being sent to the stands at Tranmere Rovers at the start of the month.

Norwich need at least a draw to be crowned champions tomorrow - and not even that if Leeds United fail to beat MK Dons at Elland Road.
