A leading bookmaker has suspended betting on Grant Holt moving to Wigan Athletic as the future of two of Norwich City's leading players remains under scrutiny.
Holt was backed down to odds of 1-5 with Sky Bet to join the relegated Latics, with Sky Sport later claiming a fee had been agreed between the two clubs and BBC Cumbria claiming the player will have a medical at the Championship club on Monday.
Sky Bet Football Trader Chris Spicer said: 'We had to pull the plug on Holt's market due to the sheer volume of bets we've taken on.
'Our customers have been queuing up to back the move, which was an even-money price just two days ago and as long as 8/1 last week.'
