'Had Redmond been playing for a top-four club maybe he would have been given a chance before now,' so writes Iwan Roberts in his column in today's EDP and Evening News.
Norwich's young star has more caps at England U21 level than Manchester United's Jesse Lingard who has been called up to the England squad after scoring a solitary goal this season.
Redmond has also made more Premier League starts this season than Lingard (11 to four) and scored more goals (four to one). So should he be in the England squad ahead of the Manchester United youngster?
