Norwich City duo Ryan Bennett and Declan Rudd have been called up to England Under-21's squad as they bid for 2013 European Championship qualifying.
The England youngsters face a trip to Azerbaijan on Thursday, September 6, before returning home to take on Norway at Chesterfield's Proact Stadium the following Monday.
Centre-back Bennett and goalkeeper Rudd played the full 90 minutes in the Canaries' 2-1 Capital One Cup round two win over Scunthorpe United on Tuesday night.
The pair have been regular members of Stuart Pearce's Under-21 set-up, while Bennett was also included in the standby list for Pearce's Team GB squad at the London Olympics.
