Media reports in Switzerland suggest Wolfsburg centre-back Timm Klose is closing on a £7.7million move to Norwich City.
The German-born Switzerland international centre-back, 27, has been a bit-part player for the Bundesliga club but did start their last match before the winter break, a 3-1 loss at Stuttgart.
The defender has already been linked with the Canaries in the current transfer window but the speculation has gathered pace after Swiss broadcaster Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen claimed Klose is joining City.
The reports claim that the former Nuremberg defender is keen on playing in the Premier League, as he tries to boost his chances of making the Switzerland squad for Euro 2016.
Swiss German-language daily newspaper Blick is reporting that the deal is worth €10million (£7.7m) and that Klose will have a medical on Monday.
