Sampdoria have reportedly slapped a £11m price tag on Norwich City transfer target Eder.
The Canaries were linked with a £7.5m enquiry for the Italian international striker earlier this week but Skysports Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims the Serie A side have rejected Norwich's initial overtures ahead of next month's transfer window.
The 29-year-old Brazil-born frontman has scored 11 goals for club and country so far this season but according to Di Marzio's web site is also reluctant to swap Serie A for the struggling Canaries, who head to Manchester United this weekend in the bottom three of the Premier League.
Alex Neil has also been touted with Utrecht's prolific striker Sebastien Haller as he looks to bolster his frontline for the second part of the season.
