The Canaries are reportedly closing in on the signing of Blackburn's Swedish international Martin Olsson.
Swedish football site fotbollskanalen.se claimed on Tuesday afternoon City had lodged a player-plus-cash bid for the 25-year-old who was heavily touted with a move to Carrow Road in the previous transfer window.
Olsson's agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, is quoted on the site suggesting Blackburn had received a firm bid from the Canaries and the defender is now poised to open talks over personal terms.
Olsson has two years left on his current Ewood Park deal and had also been linked with City's Premier League rivals West Ham. City are already reportedly in discussions with Olsson's Swedish international team mate Ola Toivonen after PSV Eindhoven accepted a 5.7m Euro offer last week.
